Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat recteq to 350°F.
- Step 2: Wash and slice oranges very thinly, removing seeds. Cut in quarters.
- Step 3: Add to a large enamel cast iron pan and place on the grill. Cook for 30-45 minutes until softened.
- Step 4: Add 4 cups of water and allow to come to a simmer.
- Step 5: Add the sugar, lemon juice, and zest. Continue cooking until the mixture thickens and has an internal temperature of 223°F. (~1.5 Hours)
- Step 6: Allow the orange mixture to cool prior to placing into the fridge.
