This recipe is the epitome of everything we love in the recteq kitchen....smoky bacon, spicy jalapeños, smooth cream cheese and the perfect pop of seasoning from Rossarooski's Honey Rib Rub and Ron's Screamin' Pig Rub.
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat the recteq to 275°F.
- Step 2: Core jalapeños and cut in half lengthwise, then set aside.
- Step 3: Brown sausage and let it cool.
- Step 4: Add the cream cheese and Ron's Screamin' Pig Rub in with the sausage, mix well.
- Step 5: Stuff mixture into jalapeños.
- Step 6: Sprinkle the Rossarooski's Honey Rib Rub over the bacon before wrapping the jalapeños.
- Step 7: Wrap bacon around each jalapeño and secure with a toothpick and place on a Mesh Cooking Mat.
- Step 8: Grill for 1.5 hours.
