Smoky and savory, this Holiday Bacon & Green Bean Casserole will become your family's new holiday favorite.
Instructions
- Step 1: Burning the recteq Ultimate Blend Pellets, preheat your recteq to 375°F and place a large sauté' pan on grill.
- Step 2: Add green beans to colander and let them thaw and drain.
- Step 3: Add bacon to sauté pan and start to render fat from bacon. Cook for 8-10 minutes.
- Step 4: Add onions and mushrooms to sauté pan and start to cook them down. Once onions become translucent, remove from grill and pour into large mixing bowl.
- Step 5: To large mixing bowl add green beans, recteq's Bacon Salt, recteq's Black Pepper, recteq's Sriracha Powder, recteq's Holiday Pork Rub, cream of mushroom soup, heavy cream, sherry wine, and parmesan cheese.
- Step 6: Mix well until all the ingredients are well incorporated. Spray 13 by 9 inch baking dish with non-stick spray, and pour the contents of the mixing bowl into a baking dish.
- Step 7: Place baking dish in recteq and bake for 45 minutes until bubbling. Add crispy onions and place back in recteq for 15 minutes, until onion are golden brown.
- Step 8: Remove from recteq and allow to rest for 10 minutes before serving.
